Woofstock, a festival of people, paws and pledges is what the Geauga Humane Society is calling its annual benefit for Rescue Village this year. It takes place on September 24th, and includes a walk for the animals. Executive Director Sharon Harvey, and the dog SHE rescued, Little Roo preview the event.

A Cultural Exchange, a literacy organization for children, celebrates its 15th anniversary with a celebration on September 30th. Lloyd “Punch” McHamm co-founded the organization.

Taste of the NFL, the party with a purpose, takes place at Cleveland Browns Stadium on Monday, September 25th. Kristen Warzoka is with the Cleveland Foodbank, the beneficiary of the funds collected from “the most exclusive tailgate party in town.”
