Race for the Cure takes place this year at a new location, and on a new date, September 15. Hermione Malon, Race Chair, and Wendy Manfredi, Communications Chair share the specifics.
Jazz at the Rockefeller Greenhouse is a free event, taking place on Saturday, September 8. The event features music, an art show, and the beauty of one of Cleveland’s finest city parks. Perrin Carpenter is manager of the greenhouse, and Jim Harris is the producer of Jazz at Rockefeller Park.

Dick Hoyt will be the keynote speaker for United Cerebral Palsy in Cleveland on September 12th. Dick is half of Team Hoyt; his adult son is the other half, and their story is extraordinary.
The ninth annual Cleveland Browns Taste of the NFL takes place on Monday, September 10th, the day after the Browns open the season against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The event raises about $100,000 for the Cleveland Foodbank. Karen Pozna of the Foodbank is joined by Elena Rego, the General Manager of John Q’s Steakhouse, and Jay Schnur, Executive Chef of John Q’s, one of the 25 restaurants participating in this year’s Cleveland Browns Taste of the NFL.
