The Race for the Place takes place on Sunday. "The Place" is "The Gathering Place," a resource for cancer patients and their families. The Beachwood facility has been helping people since 2000, and this summer, a west side location is set to open. Dan Gunther is its director.

The Phoenix Mars Lander is well on its way to becoming another success story for NASA, after it landed successfully last week. Jay Reynolds, the Director of the Schuele Planetarium at the Lake Erie Nature and Scince Center, is also NASA's "Solar System Ambassador."
